Darryl, a successful owner of a vending machine business, moves his family into a new house in an upscale suburban neighborhood. He hilariously deals with cultural differences as he tries to adapt to suburban lifestyle while maintaining his blackness.
When Yvonne takes on the responsibility of going before city council as part of a neighborhood advocacy group, Darryl is stuck with carpooling the kids to school with the help of his best friend Milsap.
Darryl feels left out when Millsap hits it off with Dave and Yvonne becomes busy with Sally's baby shower.
