Massimo and Antonia are a happily married couple living in Rome. One day Massimo meets Michele and begins an affair with him, becoming a part of his queer found family.

Antonia and Michele are both devastated by Massimo's sudden death. Antonia discovers Massimo was cheating on her, while Michele meets Antonia's family.
S1.E3 ∙ Il segreto
Antonia finally meets Michele and is shocked that her husband had an affair with a man. Michele tries to hook up with a random man to deal with his grief. Roberta tells Annamaria she loves someone else.
S1.E4 ∙ Il tradimento
Annamaria makes a decision concerning her relationship with Roberta. Antonia tries to understand why Massimo got involved with Michele.
S1.E5 ∙ La famiglia
Serra's nephew, Asaf, moves in with her. Vera has to decide if she wants to visit her transphobic family for her grandmother's 100th birthday. Antonia and Michele's relationship develops.

Things are awkward between Antonia and Michele. Luciano mentions marriage - and Riccardo is not interested. Sandro gets beaten up in a homophobic attack.

Antonia takes Luisella to a fancy party organized by her mother's lover. Riccardo proposes to Luciano. Asaf is about to leave Rome for Istanbul and he asks Antonia to go with him.
S1.E8 ∙ L'altrove
Antonia spends time with Asaf in Istanbul. Luisella has a chance for true love. Vera decides to confront her mother. Serra has to deal with her painful past she left behind in Turkey.
