Hot air balloonist, Andre,sets down near Adam's place. After meeting and talking with him,Andre says his flight is a test. One day,an option to The Pony Express mail system. Will all help with repairs or is air mail too crazy an idea?

Robbie Cartman turns to Adams to save a deer named Ginger. Adams helps by going into the woods to create the proper medicine but gets injured,losing his memory. Will he find himself again,in time to cure Ginger?

A torrential rainstorm traps Adams and friends in his cabin overnight. The next day comes and it's time to repair it, but Ben the Grizzly has wandered off for the day.

Grizzly 'Ben' is accused of eating a bucket of fish from an Indian tribesman,after a young brave named Tumaqua takes of with it to hide his failure at catching fish. Will Ben be found guilty or can Adams save his furry friend?

Adams and Mad Jack take in 2 orphan children, Michele and Eugene. While the kids are grateful at first, soon they become bored by following rules. Secretly, they later wander off to find some fun but it may endanger them both.

Trapper Tom comes to the great forests to snare grizzly bears,to sell to city zoos. With Adams help,Mad Jack and Nakoma set out to find him and destroy his traps...but will it be enough to stop him altogether?

Two inept men with dreams of gold search for it on the mountain with a map they got for ten dollars. Their efforts upset the calm balance of nature around them leading Adams and others to try and stop them before real damage is done.

Nakoma is seeking out a cougar who attacked his village and it's inhabitants. Adams realizes that it's Sekota, a cougar he raised from a cub. Adams then struggles with a loyalty to both his Indian and animal friend.

Robbie Cartman's deer Ginger,rescued sometime ago,should be sent back into the wild. Robbie loves his "pet" but Adams assures him it's right. Checking on her later,Rob can't find her anywhere. Can he,Adams and friends solve this mystery?

The men meet a lady, Mrs. Jackson. Who asks about black bears. She's writing a book about them. Adams finds out she's really after a bear who killed her father, to end its life. Can she be convinced revenge against nature isn't the solution?

Before the mountain's hit by a storm,a military man,Master Sargent Monahan arrives,whom Mad Jack mistakes for an infamous being of sorts. It's up to Adams to not only prepare all for the storm but to prove the identity of the Sgt. as well.

Mad Jack overhears a short Irishman and Tinker (Inventor) discussing gold. Thinking he's found a leprechaun,that'll lead to a pot of gold, he tells Adams. Adams doubts him though,so Jack must prove he's wasn't seeing and hearing things.
S2.E16 ∙ The Runaway
Adams meets a runaway slave named Isaac and decides to help him by letting stay at the cabin. Mad Jack thinks this may lead to trouble should Isaac's master come looking for him.
S2.E17 ∙ The Great Burro Race
Mad Jack's reacquainted with pals Gus and Gerty, Gus,still feels he's better at things than Jack. So,he talks him into a "burro race". If Jack loses,he must turn his burro named Number Seven over to Gus.
S2.E18 ∙ The Littlest Greenhorn
A new creature's in the forest,scaring the animals. Mad Jack's seen it and tells Adams it's a giant gorilla. Skeptical,Adams decides to investigate this tall tale and finds more and less than expected.
S2.E19 ∙ The Renewal
Before all can complete preparations for an Easter celebration ,they must first deal with two wayward,yet,strange visitors,whose wagon burst into flames after being struck by lightning.
S2.E20 ∙ The Stranger
Adams and friends meet a young man named Ulysses Grant. He's writing a book on the wilderness. Stating his lack of survival skill, Adams sees about teaching him the ways of the wild. Which is not as easy as it sounds.
S2.E21 ∙ The Quest
Adams and Nakoma are told by Mad Jack,he's spoken with an Army Corporal. The Corporal said he was sent by the Govt. to help with issues regarding the animals. Adams is suspicious and thinks it may be a lie and the Corporal a bounty hunter.
S2.E22 ∙ The Skyrider
Adams and Mad Jack find an unusual man. Mr. Milton Wright's trying to achieve human flight in his bird-like "glider" invention. S close watch is kept on him. He keeps crashing but also needs to find the answer to realizing his dream.
S2.E23 ∙ The World's Greatest Bounty Hunter
After coming down with a seriously high fever and sickness,Mad Jack's state of mind leads him to believe he's a bounty hunter. He also believes that Adams is the man he's looking to hunt down and take in...dead or alive.
S2.E24 ∙ Once Upon a Starry Night
A heavy blizzard covers the mountains and later causes an avalanche. These 2 factors threaten to separate a pioneer family. Adams,Mad Jack,Nakoma and Ben must rescue and reunite them and keep Christmas a joyful occasion.
