Thomas arranges three vitally important encounters on the same night. He tries to ingratiate himself with his boss over a drink, then attempts to persuade a friend to become a new client and finally has dinner with his father-in-law.

Thomas opens up to his boss, Chris Carter, about the bullying he has been subjected to. Chris is sceptical, but Thomas is insistent that the matter is dealt with that day. The reasons behind the team's behaviour are laid bare.
