As the A-Troupe dancers prepare for the regional dance competition, relationships and loyalties are put to the test at the Next Step studio.

S1.E1 ∙ Get the Party Started
This introduces you to a dance studio called 'The Next Step', it has different groups due to your capability. Everyone in A or B troupe auditions for A troupe and there is a new girl what stirs the place up.
S1.E2 ∙ Everybody Dance Now
The new A-Troupe team results in one top dancer losing their spot. Emily is fighting to keep her spot as Dance Captain.
S1.E3 ∙ Dance, Dance
Kate and Chris give Michelle a chance to be dance captain considering her being dance captain at her last studio. Each dance captain had to split into a group of 5. But when Chris chooses the groups, Emily is split with Stephanie, her best friend, and Stephanie has to mess up the dance moves to Michelle's dance. Riley feels that Emily and Stephanie's idea shows that Emily is feeling too threatened towards Michelle. Kate yells at Michelle for deciding that their dance was ready, where Michelle argues saying that Stephanie agreed that she was ready. Emily was once again dance captain. Meanwhile, James is about to get kicked out of the studio for failing math. Chris says that he will help James and his mom gives him a second chance. West tries to befriend James by randomly putting on dance offs in public. Everyone in A-Troupe starts arguing over who should be dance captain, Kate panics and Chris throws ping pong balls for everyone to clean up. Until West starts dancing in front of James, James starts dancing in response meaning West has won his respect. Eventually everyone starts dancing together, forgetting about the dance captain situation. They realize they are here to dance, not to complain.
S1.E4 ∙ Rock and a Hard Place
When mate asks Emily to hold dance evaluation placements in the group dance, Emily decides to put Michelle in the back row to cause waves amongst the dancers
S1.E5 ∙ Steal My Sunshine
Steal My Sunshine is about... The A troupe members get a day off because of "Dance Camp" in studio A. Michelle gives out a idea that they can go to the beach (Michelle has never been). Since Emily is the dance captain, she is in charge of running "Dance Camp". The E~girls help her out. The rest of the troupe head down to the beach. Riley was wearing Emlily's grandmother's necklace to remember her loss. Riley had received a - watch and Emily a necklace it was the only thing they had to remember there grandmother by. Later on the day A huge problem happens including Riley's necklace, Chole be terrified and Kids gone missing at "Dance Camp". I personally enjoyed this episode very much and I recommend it.

To prepare for the competition, Emily convinces the team to go and spy on their arch enemies at Elite Dance Academy. Back at the studio, West and Daniel fight over studio space.
S1.E7 ∙ Love Story
Emily agrees to go on a date with Eldon whilst Michelle is still at Elite making the only choice she has to pretend to audition for there team, Miss Kate is worried she will loose Michelle forever. James has a math test
S1.E8 ∙ Just the Two of Us
Eldon struggles to choose between Emily and Michelle as his partner for his duet performance. Meanwhile, West and Stephanie are at odds on how to proceed with their duet, leaving West wanting to quit altogether.

The A-Troupe is selected to perform in a music video for the band Brighter Brightest. However, the dancers become divided over the routine that Emily has choreographed.

In an effort to spend more time with Riley, James accompanies her to pick up costumes for the troupe. At the studio, Stephanie takes part in a photo shoot.
S1.E11 ∙ Can You Keep a Secret?
Michelle learns the truth about Chloe's financial situation. The dancers compete for the solo spot in the Regionals routine.
S1.E12 ∙ Get It Together
Michelle secretly choreographs a new routine for Regionals. When Michelle begins recruiting some of the A-Troupe to learn her routine, she missteps by inviting one of the E-Girls.

Emily beings to suspect Michelle is up to something behind her back. Eldon gets tired of people questioning his relationship with Emily, and decides to set the story straight.

Michelle decides to change the line positions and neither Emily nor Stephanie are happy about it. Emily confesses a secret to Eldon that brings them a little closer.

Emily struggles with what to do next after being put in the back row by Michelle and accuses Michelle of having a crush on Eldon. Stephanie's first audition doesn't go exactly as planned.

With Emily and Stephanie gone, Giselle auditions to be the new member of A-Troupe. Riley offers to help James learn the routine he's missing since he's not in the studio.
S1.E20 ∙ We Are Family
Riley tries to make amends with her sister, but it doesn't go exactly as planned. Eldon struggles with the feelings he has for both Michelle and Emily.
S1.E21 ∙ Break Stuff
Giselle wants to make her mark in A-Troupe by doing a dangerous lift, but Daniel isn't so sure it is a good idea. Michelle thinks it's exactly what they need to get them to Regionals and wants to help them, against Kate and Chris's wishes.

With Daniel now out of A-troupe, Michelle and the team try and get Emily to come back. James is given Daniel's solo, but can't seem to balance both math and dance and Riley and West worry he may get pulled out of the studio for good.

When A-Troupe get themselves into a dance battle with the street crew, "Seeds", West has no choice but to reveal his secret. Michelle learns that being Dance Captain is harder than she thought.
S1.E24 ∙ Price Tag
Chloe's financial problems finally boil over and she is forced to leave A-Troupe. Michelle and Emily decide to be Co-Captains and choreograph a new routine.
S1.E25 ∙ Bad Moon Rising
Since everyone has been working so hard in prep for Regionals, Kate and Chris hold a pizza party at The Next Step studio. Everyone has a good time getting to hang out as friends, and not just dance mates.

The dancers are excited when their Regional costumes arrive, but when they realize they are wrong, everyone worries they may not have them in time. Eldon tries to talk to Michelle, but when she continues to ignore him, he decides to move on for good.

The A-Troupe finally head to Regionals. When West learns that Seeds may not be able to perform, he volunteers to step in and help them out.

The Next Step takes the stage for the first time in their bid to win Regionals. When Riley has trouble with a part of her costume, The Next Step's chances are jeopardized.

After being named the wild card they are put through to the semifinals. Where they dance against rival dance troupe seeds, who they previously lost to in a dance battle. So will they win and face Elite in the final.

S2.E1 ∙ Don't Stop the Party
The A-Troupe is reunited after their win at Regionals but they learn quickly that the rules at Nationals are different and their team dynamic could be in jeopardy. Emily and Michelle set aside their differences over Eldon and agree to focus their energies on the Nationals preparation.
S2.E2 ∙ My Boyfriend's Back
A-Troupe meets their new choreographer and votes for open auditions for the Nationals Team. A-Troupers, B-Troupers, J-Troupers plus unexpected newcomers all show up for the Nationals team auditions.
S2.E3 ∙ Ready to Start
The first round of auditions for the Nationals team takes place. Phoebe, the new Head Choreographer, challenges the dancers with her choreography for the final round.
S2.E4 ∙ The Final Cut
The Nationals team is chosen with devastating results for some A-Troupers. Hunter enlists Emily's help to make Michelle jealous.
S2.E5 ∙ The Girl Is Mine
Hunter challenges Eldon to a secret dance battle - the prize -Michelle. Kate asks James to dance a duet with Beth when her partner drops out.
S2.E6 ∙ Work It
With new members in place, the team fundraises to buy designer uniforms. Michelle is confused when Eldon avoids her as a result of losing the dance battle.
S2.E7 ∙ It Takes Two
Solos and duets competitors are chosen for Nationals, where each round is an elimination. Michelle is hurt when Eldon won't do the duet with her. Riley's world comes crashing down when James betrays her.

Auditions for the small group dance are held amid personal betrayals and misunderstandings. James apologizes to Riley but she cannot bring herself to forgive him.

James and Riley struggle with their duet. Michelle confronts Eldon for an answer as to why he is avoiding her.
S2.E10 ∙ I Hope I Get It
As the studio grows in popularity it must make space for new members of J-Troupe. Emily asks Hunter to help her with J-Troupe auditions to make Michelle jealous but enjoys herself with Hunter more than she expects.

Michelle and Amanda promote the studio at their school while the others mentor J-troupe. Daniel gives Kate an ultimatum if he doesn't get the solo for Nationals.

The Next Step perform their nationals finals routine against Life of Dance with Amanda from Elite although they win after going back to the studio to practise they receive disturbing news and a big catastrophe and decision as Lucien gives them a proposition to consider.

Michelle finds out about the dance battle and Hunter gets a chance at the Nationals solo spot. Phoebe challenges select A-Troupers and J-Troupers to create a song and a dance in 24 hours.

Michelle holds a scholarship fundraiser for young dancers while the Elite competition gets a step up. Amanda misses a band practice and feels bad about lying to her new friends. West and Giselle get caught up in a talent war.

Giselle and Thalia think a little competition will be good motivation for James and Riley. Hunter invites Michelle to a concert. James and Eldon do some male bonding while Amanda sympathizes with Emily.
S2.E16 ∙ Hazy Shade of Winter
Michelle confronts Emily about the kiss. Thalia and Giselle try to convince James and Riley to take the duet back. Hunter's confused and Michelle has something important to discuss with Kate.

The pressure is on for Nationals when a key member leaves the troupe. The team can't afford to lose anyone else. Amanda and Riley audition for the solo while Emily puts herself on the line to save her team.

In order to win Riley back, James suggests she give him a list of tasks to complete to prove his dedication, starting with breaking up with Beth. Emily further isolates herself from the team to gain Amanda's trust. When Michelle won't answer calls from the studio, Chloe visits Michelle at School.

Emily encourages Hunter to try to get closer to the boys. James creates a new dance move for Riley's list. Gabi is jealous when her younger sister, Becca, is chosen for a J-Troupe trio.

Emily faces a difficult situation to prove her trip to Amanda. James continues to tick off challenges from Riley's list.

Thalia, Giselle, and Amanda represent The Next Step at a Trio competition. When Michelle comes to watch, Amanda is forced to change her plans. James tackles number ten on Riley's list and decides to get to know Emily.

James turns to the boys for help to solve a riddle for Riley. The A-Troupe costumes for Nationals go missing. Emily's loyalties are tested.

James is closer to finishing Riley's list. Amanda continues to scheme and is suspicious of Emily's motives. Michelle tries to find a substitute for dance.

While Amanda's plans to take down The Next Step involve Chloe, James and Riley are off to learn First Aide. Emily is worried she will never collect enough evidence to show Amanda's true colors.

Chloe and Riley work together to prove Emily is innocent. A-Troupe are reeling after Amanda's shock confession.

With Nationals around the corner, Riley and James struggle to reconnect while rehearsing their duet. Emily and West strike up an unlikely friendship, while Michelle and Eldon rekindle theirs.

Successful choreographer Luther Brown drops in on The Next Step to help the boys with their small group routine. Thalia and Giselle are in a rush to try to teach Michelle the Nationals routine. James gives Eldon dating advice.

The team arrives at Nationals for the first of two dates of male solo competition. Both Elite and Ladies of Destruction (LOD) appear as formidable opponents.

Eldon learns he must compete against Daniel in the male solo round. Daniel's competitiveness stains his friendships with his old teammates.

It's the finals, but The Next Step only has 9 dancers, as Emily has injured her knee. Amanda volunteered to dance in her place, but what will the judges decide?

Lucien continues with his plot to destroy The Next Step, and he has recruited Daniel to Elite to help him. Emily gets news about her knee, while Michelle struggles with some personal stuff.

It's The Next Step against Elite. The competition for spots at the Internationals team begins, and all the dancers try their best to get on the team.

James and Riley struggle with competing against etch other, Miss Kate makes a decision regarding the future of The Next Step, while the boys says goodby to Hunter.
S3.E6 ∙ The Times They Are a Changin'
The dans-battle continues. With five dans-battles left, The Next Step is in the lead, with four dancers from TNS on the Internationals team, which means they only need three more to keep the Studio, and get rid of Lucien.

James enlists Riley's help finding a suit for his aunt Kathy's wedding.
S3.E9 ∙ The Nutcracker Prince
Eldon challenges West to broaden his dance horizons and audition for a ballet company. West enlists Chloe's help to support him through the audition. James is busy with the band, and isn't sure if he'll take the open spot on A-Troupe.

Thalia gets jealous and wonders if things between Michelle and Eldon are really over. Chloe receives an exciting opportunity to help her dance career, but taking it would mean leaving The Next Step. Richelle develops a crush on a member of ATroupe.

James driving instructor:Arthuer wants to marry his aunt Kathy to become his actual uncle. At first James dosn't like Arthur but soon starts to love him but Arthur has to choose between Kathy or his cats will James save the wedding

Chloe chooses between joining a ballet company and staying at The Next Step. Fed up with Eldon avoiding her, Thalia gets to the bottom of his odd behaviour.

Kate and Giselle arrive to register for Internationals, but James hasn't signed his form yet. Unfortunately, James is trapped on a boat, adrift in the middle of the alligator-filled Everglades with West and Eldon.

Eldon struggles with the loss of his lucky coin ahead of his Mister International Soloist competition. Riley's friendship with Ella is tested when they compete for Miss International Soloist.

Thalia is selected to represent The Next Step in the first round of Internationals, which sees dancers from different countries team up. Eldon suspects Thalia's new teammate from Poland is interested in more than just dance.

The dancers find out that in the second round of Internationals, the dance they had prepared will have to be performed blindfolded. As they struggle to make it work, it becomes apparent that they need to change which dancers perform. Michelle helps Stephanie conquer her stage fright.

At the afternoon auditions, guest choreographer Stephanie has her last dance at The Next Step. Alfie helps the nervous new dancers relax before their auditions. Cierra and Skylar's pact is tested when the sisters face the most challenging audition of their lives.

The new A-troupe dancers are revealed, and Piper decides to form a club with her nervous fellow newbies. Riley is offered the opportunity of a lifetime, and Cierra and Amanda both vie for the final open spot on A-Troupe.

Riley decides to assign a trio competition to prepare for the first Regionals qualifier. Amanda and Michelle are threatened by Richelle's superior dance skills. Nervous about her limitations as a dancer, Sloane turns to her best friend LaTroy for support.

West receives a mysterious package from London, England, which leads to a big surprise for the bros. Noah takes a break from dance to work on his music in Studio-A, and enlists the help of a reluctant Amanda. As James prepares to leave for London, an overwhelmed Riley wonders if she's taken on too much as the head of the studio. Michelle and Cassie challenge Henry and LaTroy to teach them some new hip-hop tricks. A smitten Amanda helps Noah with a family matter.
