S1.E1 ∙ What If...?
The Shiunji family with a self-made wealthy entrepreneur at the helm lives in luxury in the upscale neighborhood of Seijo, Setagaya City, Tokyo. In this family, there are five beautiful sisters and two brothers which makes them seven siblings. Each of these siblings showcases distinct talents and possesses individual personalities. In the midst of their privileged life, the eldest son, Arata, is grappling with the more relatable, enduring problem of love being in conflict with family expectations which makes his already late blooming love life more challenging. The bond of these siblings seems to be evolving in a way that is typical of a blended family. But in a shocking twist they learn the harsh truth, that they were adopted. This shocking reality forces the siblings to rethink their understanding of themselves and the relationships that they thought formed their family unit for the past 15 years.
S1.E2 ∙ Now what
After Kotono confesses her feelings to Arata, the atmosphere in the Shiunji household shifts into unfamiliar territory. Arata tries to keep his distance and maintain their sibling bond, but Kotono's serious and persistent approach makes it difficult to ignore the growing tension. Their interactions grow increasingly awkward as Kotono tries to win him over while Arata attempts to process his own feelings without crossing the line. The situation intensifies when Seiha, another sister, boldly makes her own move on Arata not out of genuine affection, but as a test. She wants to see if Arata would give in to temptation, viewing it as a way to protect the integrity of their family dynamic. Her plan backfires slightly when she ends up feeling flustered herself, hinting at hidden emotions she wasn't expecting. Meanwhile, the rest of the family continues their daily lives some oblivious, others increasingly aware that things are changing. As Arata juggles these emotional challenges, he starts questioning what kind of future they can have now that the lines between siblings and strangers are so blurred.
