Italian stoker Mario Sandrini blags a job on the Titanic for his brother Paolo, who encounters Annie Desmond and is instantly smitten. Watson is loitering in steerage and Barnes is shocked to discover why, while Paolo startles Annie.

After the RMS Titanic strikes the iceberg, passengers and crew face a life-or-death situation. Paolo desperately tries to save his brother, Mabel is locked in a stateroom, and Jim tries to rescue one of his children.
