Meanwhile, at MODE, Daniel, who is still interested in Sofia, continues to try to get her attention, but Sofia seems to be very resistant to his charms. And, Wilhelmina has a meeting with an important client, but has to dress up for this meeting in very unusual clothes for her and as it turns out she has to do much more to please him.. At home, Hilda still tries to get the money together the family needs for a lawyer. Being very desperate, she asks Santos, who gives her the money, but in exchange wants to see his and Hilda's son Justin.

She turns his proposal down, which totally destroys his spirit. Meanhile Texan lover Ted LeBeau renders Wilhelmina romantic enough to turn a cold shoulder to her shady boss, until his wife wants him back as father of their children. Betty's dad Ignacio finds he can't get out of the demands of mean Immigration official Constance Grady, who will get him deported even after 30 years of total integration unless he satisfies her.

However, as her hobby enriches her, her job is nearly killing her, since Wilhemina tortures Betty with beauty experiments for future stories. Meanwhile, Daniel fears Marc is sabotaging him -- and he is; Bobby treats a hormonal Hilda to some pampering during "Hilda Week," which goes awry, and Wilhelmina makes a long-term commitment to the incarcerated Connor.
