Former paratrooper Levison Wood embarks on an epic 1,800 mile hike along the spine of Central America over the course of four months. Starting in Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula and ending in Columbia.

Levison Wood begins his journey in Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula, where he and his guide Alberto explore the remains of Mayan civilisation. They then move into the jungles where Levison trained as a soldier.
The second-leg of Levison Wood's four-month trek across Central America takes him through Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua. Along the way he visits a town populated by the descendants of shipwrecked African slaves.
In Nicaragua and Costa Rica, Levison and Alberto trek through beautiful landscapes and colonial cities, climb active volcanoes and mountains, navigate deadly highways and meet fishermen and migrants.
The final leg of Levison's journey sees him venture through the Darien Gap from Panama to Columbia. He also visits the Panama Canal, explores a cave that is home to vampire bats and spends time with a local tribe.
