Chloe, Sacha and Jonathan have made it to London and continue their search for Jonathan's family, with Sacha certain of their survival due his continuous dreams about Emily.
At the Observatory, Mokrani and Catherine clash over the fate of Micah, whom Catherine sees as a vital source of information. Micah reveals to Catherine that she needs to find Bill Ward. The latter, meanwhile, tries to find out more about Emily, still beset with visions of Adina, the alien leader urging her to kill Bill. Jonathan finally finds his family.
Without telling Emily or her parents anything, Bill decides with Zoe to test Emily the bioweapon he hopes he can use against the Aliens. Catherine, for her part, has had difficulty managing her grief since Mokrani's death. She now has one thing on her mind: to find out who Bill Ward is and find him. Sophia is ready to help him, but Nathan hesitates.
Catherine, Nathan and Sophia make their way to London, accompanied by Victor, a survivor encountered by chance. Along the way, the dangers multiply. Sacha's feelings for Emily intensify and the young man's behavior becomes more and more disturbing. Feeling particularly threatened, Bill is forced to flee.
Catherine, Sophia, Zoe and the other survivors finally reunited prepare for the ultimate attack. But it is Bill who is the only one who holds the fate of mankind in his hands, provided he is helped by Isla.
