Alex and Harper enter an academic contest, for which Alex wears a pair of "smarty pants" that gives her all the answers, without any regard for Harper. Elsewhere, Max starts a water bottle business at school.

Justin meets a girl on the World Wide Wiz-Web who seems nice enough... except that she's a werewolf.
S2.E3 ∙ Graphic Novel
Justin and Max steal Alex's diary only to have it stolen again by Gigi, Alex's arch nemesis. In an attempt to recover the diary, the brothers accidentally place Gigi inside the book and into Alex's secret fairy-tale princess world.
S2.E4 ∙ Racing
In an effort to spend time with Dean so she can talk him into becoming her permanent boyfriend, Alex invites him to the Russo family basement/garage to help fix an old car that Jerry never had time to take care of and enter it in a race in New Jersey. However, he proves to be so good he ends up gaining the admiration of the rest of the Russo family, especially Jerry, which hinders her plans for alone time with him. Meanwhile, Justin taunts Max for his recent purchases of suspicious items from the World Wide Wiz-Web, some of which turn out to work, even if they don't work perfectly.

Failing to get his kids to work together on a spell, Jerry tells Max about an apparent spree of delicatessen robberies that prompts him to become Lower Manhattan's newest superhero; Maximan.

Wiz Tech is temporarily closed and students are housed in the real world.
S2.E8 ∙ Harper Knows
The Russo family is assigned to a popular convention to be on the lookout for rogue wizards who use magic to stir up trouble. But when Alex and her brothers go to the convention on a special assignment, Harper is along for the ride for the costumes. Alex is starting to feel compelled to reveal to Harper just who she really is.

When word that the taxicab she was born in is being prepared for the scrap yard, Alex uses magic to try to restore it and does a better job of it than she expected... according to the cab.
S2.E10 ∙ Baby Cupid
Fearing that her parents might break up on their anniversary, Alex orders Cupid from the world-wide wiz-web. The trouble is, the couple he ends up bringing together turns out to be... of all people, Justin and Harper!

A guidance counselor from the Wizard World is sent to advise the Russo kids on alternate career plans in case they fail their wizard training. After much arguing between Justin & Alex, they decide to form a two-person rock band, a la The White Stripes, and prove to be quite the duo. Max decides that his alternate plan is to be a magician, and proves to be just as good as his older siblings, if not better.

Justin casts Harper to play Tinkerbell in the school production.
S2.E13 ∙ Fashion Week
Harper helps Mr. Frenchy during Fashion Week and enlists Alex's help.
S2.E14 ∙ Helping Hand
Justin invents a "helping hand" with which to help the elderly, but Alex steals it to use for herself.
S2.E15 ∙ Art Teacher
Alex finds out that her favorite teacher, Miss Jennifer Majorhealy, is in reality a 16-year-old girl who was transformed into an adult by TJ Taylor(See episode #1.5, "Disenchanted Evening"). When she sprinkles her with undo dust and changes her back, she puts the entire art program at risk of being cut. Max makes up a fake disease to get out of a class, but ends up also getting the attention of a girl he likes, as well as two celebrities.

The Russo siblings learn of their secret being exposed by a popular author via her novels, but when they go through the Inter-Wizard People Porter to confront her, they make a shocking discovery.

Upon facing the realization that he was never the giant he believed himself to be, Hugh Normous runs away from home... to the Russos.

The desire to keep his favorite weatherman from being fired prompts Justin to get him to call for outlandish forecasts that he makes come true, and brings Mother Nature herself to take her anger out on him.

Alex switches brains with Harper for test, but Alex has trouble switching them back. Justin gets a girlfriend, and tries to figure a way to break up with her. Family Game night at the Russo's.

A shared interest in silent movies is bringing Justin and Harper closer together, much to the delight of Harper, and the chagrin of Alex.

Jerry hires a tutor named Tutor to help Max pass a test at school!

Alex gives her dad a Merlin's hat with unlimited wishes for his birthday.

Justin wins an essay contest that allows him to go on the S.S. Tipton and meet London Tipton. Alex soon becomes friends with Bailey Pickett, and uses magic to bring Harper on-board. Max and Zack Martin compete against each other in many crazy challenges.

Business at the Waverly Sub Station is slow.
