Irene wants to stay with Tirso, which only worsens his relationship with Jimena. Nelson and Irene have not forgotten each other, but the changes in their lives make them unwilling to admit it. Ezequiel stays at Gladys' place.

Salgado decides to try everything to get Tirso to sell the hardware store. Jimena abandons her job to focus on her family. Irene and Nelson start seeing each other again and their love reignites.

With Ezequiel at death's door, Gladys discovers that he was protecting Nelson from going to prison for murder. Nata's gang opens a drug-dealing house in the neighborhood, putting the neighbors on edge.

Tirso discovers just how far Salgado is willing to go to achieve his goals. Irene can no longer see Nelson the same way and has to make a choice. Jimena finds out that Salgado is the 'Ghost' that Amanda has been chasing for years.
